Praaz is a world music band comprising of established musicians from various backgrounds and cultures.
This collective of musicians were brought together by Praashekh Borkar to create a unique style of music that is not bound to any one particular genre or culture.
The music played by Praaz is a collection of some of the newer compositions by Praashekh that boast of a unique sound and comprises of some very established known musicians.
The full band currently has 6 members playing a huge variety of instruments but since Praaz is pretty much a modular band, they have performed with fewer musicians than the all 6 depending on venue, occasion and requirement of the organisers.
